Happy Holidays ... Part two

On Day two, we ate breakfast outside the trailer as the weather was dry and hotting up, the view was pretty great too! (I'm saving some pics for Photoshop Friday!)

We visited the western tip of the island, Allum Bay and went on a boat trip out the the Needles.

In the afternoon the kids hung around in a tree!

On Day three we found a little bay called Steephill Cove and they werent kidding either!

Some sun soaking was followed by tea and cupcakes ( I had two!!) in the company of Helen my pal and host from Vintage Vacations uk.

    Cupcakes are so trendy at the moment aren't they? I've asked for a cupcake cook book (trying saying that after a few) for my birthday, may post piccies if I make some decent ones. Looks like a fun holiday!

    yeah l'd like to know how to make them look so full, and not like my usual iced ackes with 100s and 1000s....l think Nigella has a recipe, l keep meaning to look. I think the secret is an icing bag and amercian frosting!!

    Thank you for stopping by afterthoughts! I love new bloggin friends! That hubby saver napkin was sort of a joke for my family ;) I have a brother in law who always has something on the front of his shirt and he never bothers to change it before going out in public! It's so EMBARRASSING! I can't stand it! So maybe my sista might get the hint! Was that mean or what??

    Anywho, I love your pictures, they are wonderful and looks like yall are having a blast!

Loneliness...

is next to god awfulness. l enjoyed my London trip on so many levels. Though particularly because I had time to suit myself, time away from pressure of work, time away from the kids, all types of timetables. Time away from decision making, which I abhor with a passion! Sometimes, though thankfully not often when l am alone. Sitting in a coffee shop. Or in line in the bank or supermarket. Waiting in the car in line for the car park. Usually alone waiting. I get the heebee jeebee's. In plain speak a panic or anxiety attack. It comes in the form of a butterfly fluttering in my chest, a screaming in my head. Silent screaming. But I feel the noise. White noise. That drives darkness through the day like a knife through butter. It lasts but a few moments, but a dry fear stays a while. Remaining hidden amongst the layers of feelings and experiences we call life. Whilst walking alone through the streets of London, it lurked. Unacknowledged. Invisible. On my way to work - Monochrome Monday

Monochrome Monday hosted by Aileni As it is very frosty and cold I am driving to work, shameful, yes, as its only 1.75 miles uphill down hill in nose to tail traffic. I park in the nearest car park, courtesy of the City Council, a perk of the job. Thank you very much.
