Something

it is,
was,
just something

something to reignite
the dampened flame

something to make me
laugh again

something to hold on to
for a few moments

something to breathe
the life back into me

something to smell,
touch and arch into

something to lose,
as quickly as was found

just something

we build our lives on little
    somethings.
    they make us
    but they don't
    we make them
    then move on

  10. I love your lovely poem......no need to define the 'something".

    Perfect just as it is.

  11. A bit like the Mistral...blows in, brings cooling relief...then blows back to whence it came.

Thanks for stopping by!

Take the weight of your feet, draw up a chair and pour yourself a cuppa. Leave your troubles at the door and together we shall ride out the storms.
I will walk a while in your shoes...
