Miscellaneous Monday #6

I was faffing around with my camera
in the gardens at my work
during a tea break in the summer
and I thrust the camera down into the foliage
pointing the lens skywards
and this was the result
a tad abstract

  1. Abstract, perhaps, Saz, but it is quite pretty!

  2. And quite lovely!
Sometimes the best shots are the unconventional ones - the ones where we break all the rules and go for something we've not seen before. I love this - it seems to be saying, "Look up! Look up! You can climb through the foliage and break through to the blue sky!"

  3. Great idea for the shot, Saz, and it worked very well. Eddie

  4. You look so much more rational than your profile shot ;)! I love to see who it is I am writing to, and reading! Cute shot. Love your red hair and you have a beautiful smile. Fifty? No way! you look good, girl!

Nice shot through the trees as well!

  5. More than a tad good .. what a good composition, Saz, you have a good eye!

  6. The light you've captured here is wonderful, Saz, and so deliciously reminiscent of summer... Sigh... You have such an eye, my dahlink! xox

  7. I love that photo. Very good composition.

  8. A squirrel's view perhaps but very interesting for us humans. Thanks.

    Hope your week is grand.

  9. Looks like you were in Spain or somewhere like that!

  10. Neat shot! What kind of tree is that?

I just found your blog and had to look up "faffing." I love learning new languages. :)

  11. Faffing? Faffing looks like a great shot here.

  12. Very nice. Don't you love those sweet surprises?

  13. Lovely. Beyond the leaves there are flowers.

  14. Isn't it amazing the photos one can come up with by looking through the branches of a tree? This is terrific.

  15. Sara- I always wondered what it would be like to be a rabbit. I'm too claustrophobic. ~rick

Thanks for stopping by!

Take the weight of your feet, draw up a chair and pour yourself a cuppa. Leave your troubles at the door and together we shall ride out the storms.
I will walk a while in your shoes...
