We're off...

for a few days, my tall boy and me!
Off to visit with Moannie and JP in Kent,
to park my rather humungus backside on their couch,
drink in some sunshine,
apparently they haven't had 3 weeks of rain.
To replenish the batteries.
Big girl and Larry are staying home.

So (BS5) at 7.45 am we'll be on this....

so I might be pretending to read this....

but probably doing this...

see y'all soon....

  1. Remember that Petula Clark song?
"don't sleep in the subway darling"

    Nah. I don't either.

  2. Oh my, you and Moanie together? Why does it not happen to us in the States? We hardly have any time; our distances are humongous, and what's more, we don't have such great transportation.

Have a great time. Say Hi to Moanie from me.

  6. Have a great time, tho I hear the rain is a a-coming. Are you like me? They always call me the rain bird because wherever I go it rains. Still whatever the weather, it is nice to go home to be spoiled with some home comforts!

Thanks for stopping by!

Take the weight of your feet, draw up a chair and pour yourself a cuppa. Leave your troubles at the door and together we shall ride out the storms.
I will walk a while in your shoes...
